Queen Contest

The Mooreland Free Fair Queen Contest is for a single young woman without children.
Candidate entry deadline is June 25th. Please send entries to Sharon Webb, 5035 N CR 600 E, Mooreland, IN 47360.
The fair board pays for the pictures, banners, and flowers for each contestant. Pictures will be taken the first week of July.

Rules
1. Contestants must be at least 15 years of age and no older than 19 years of age as of August 1st
2. A young woman cannot be a candidate more than twice. Once she has been elected Queen, she cannot participate again.
3. If the committee feels a girl is not a good representative of the Mooreland Fair, she will be denied entry or asked to step down.
4. All candidates must be sponsored by a BRV school organization, local organization, Henry County merchant, or be a BRV student. Candidates are responsible for getting their own convertibles or floats to ride on in the parade on Saturday. DO NOT contact school officials for any reason, only people listed on this page.

Voting
1. Voting for candidates is one penny per vote in the Queen & Princess booth at the fair.
2. Cans are not allowed at any other place! Fair booth only. Any cans set up anywhere else, contestant will be disqualified.
3. Winner will be announced on Saturday night of the fair.

Prizes
1st Place - $125.00
2nd Place - $75.00
3rd Place - $50.00
Miss Congeniality - $20.00

If for any reason the Queen cannot fulfill her duties, the runner-up will take her place.

Princess Contest

2. A girl cannot be a candidate more than twice.
3. All candidates must be sponsored by a BRV school organization, local organization, Henry County merchant, or be a BRV student. Candidates are responsible for getting their own convertibles or floats to ride on in the parade on Saturday. PHOTOS FOR THE QUEEN'S BOOTH WILL BE TAKEN THE FIRST WEEK OF JULY.

Floats may be decorated in the parade theme, or the theme of your choice.
